I figure it's because I traded for the player and not the pick. I didn't want the pick if Hunt wasn't available so when the spot came up, Portland just drafted the player for me knowing the deal would get made as we had already discussed it several times.

Ah, interesting. I bet that's a coding issue, then. That would be a rare case to trade for a drafted rookie before signing him. We likely need to put some exception in the code for that.*
