The numbers fail to support your assertions, nothing more. According to your stats..KU has 80,000 in the KC metro area, but only 20,000 in the ENTIRE state of Missouri. Which means a minimum of 60k KU fans are on the Kansas side of the metro, and that is only if every single KU alumni in the state of MO is in KC. As a result, anyone with half a brain can determine that MU has a strong presence in the KC area, particular on the eastern half of the metro (which is closest to Columbia). Areas such as Ind., Blue Springs, and Lee's Summit, for example, are much stronger in MU support than they are in KU support....based on the numbers you yourself provided.
