I get the sense if Saunders was the head coach we would have ALWAYS gone for it on 4th and short...Vermeil never seemed to understand we didn't have a defense and that the offense was our strength...I don't think Al would have that problem.
I already stated all the reasons why Al as HC would make sense. But I'm not going to get my hopes up because nothing this team does seems to make much sense...
