I used a telephoto lens and I think I was about 15 feet away from the goose when I took the pic. I opened it in some Canon RAW program and it automatically tweaked the colors and stuff for me. Anyhow, I'm wondering if it looks better cropped, with a less noticeable background, or if it looks better seeing all that blurred stuff.

Great photo! To me, the cropepd one looks neater, but IMO it depends on what you're using the photo for.
