Don't even get me started on the hitchhiker. First thing I noticed was his tin cooking/eating dish hanging from the backpack by a metal carabiner. That thing would make so much noise, you might as well be ringing the dinner bell for the zombies as you walk by.
And I wondered the same thing. The guy has made it this long and then all of a sudden is taken out for no reason in the middle of nowhere in the wide open woods. I mean, I know why the writers put it in there, but it just doesn't make any sense what so ever.
