Its a tale of two different defenses. Ones that can KEEP him in the pocket, and those that cant. they act like this kid is 24, 25 years old. Hes 27, and despite them constantly adding playmakers to his team, doesn't seem to be able to take that leap.

meanwhile Alex Smith with far less talent around him, seems to at the very least be getting max from the players he has around him.

I could be wrong.

I know im a biased Alex Smith ball gargler who can see him do no wrong, and must defend every decision to the DEATH.

But, that's just what I see.
