I hate to be a pain in the ass, but a quick question about picking up a new team just came up for me.

A quick perusal of the team roster this morning has revealed that I will be letting go of roughly twenty players because they are not in the NFL anymore. This doesn't include players who were season long backups, but I imagine there will be another 14-17 whose contribution make them comparable to or less valuable than a street free agent.

Will a new manager in the league just have to suffer 30-35 street free agents on his team until he can replace them through the draft, or will there be an "expansion team" style set up for newcomers to aid competitive balance?

I'll roll with whatever helps out more, but I could see a paying customer having an expectation of being able to fill his roster with players currently playing in the NFL prior to having to compete in a league.
