No you don't. As far as the computer operation is concerned, the SSD functions in exactly the same way as the platter drive did, just faster. It's completely unnecessary to do a fresh install when replacing a platter drive with a SSD. Clone the old drive directly to the SSD and boot it up.

I tried 4 different programs and I never got one to work right but it could be me because I am a Raiderfan and we don't have much computer time in between pressing license plates.
