Correct. And if he doesn't play well enough to overcome all of the team deficiencies? He will be the easy target... because he's not elite.
... and no one said he was.
The OL, receivers, and D will have to step up to being at least respectable.... and this holds true for any QB's success. Maybe Rodgers, Brees, and a couple others can get more out of this bunch... but they're not handing them over to us.
