I've tried to see Pennywise twice before and they cancelled on me both times. The first time, I showed up at the Beaumont Club to find a note on the door saying the band was snowed in in Denver. The second time, I was going to see them in Austin, TX and the show was cancelled because Zoli Teglas hurt his back.
This time, I was excited about the About Time tour, but they skipped Kansas City. The three opening acts played KC, but Pennywise was trying to dodge me again. So I drove to St. Louis and saw them with a friend there. The band apparently didn't see that coming as they showed up and played a really good set.
