I heard about this attack on the radio this afternoon. The newscaster called it a case of domestic terrorism. He reported the name of the man and it sounded middle eastern. He said that the man shouted "God is great" in arabic. And that was it. So I was left wondering if this guy was a Coptic Christian or one of those generally happy jews living in Syria that BEP tells us about.

Maybe they weren't sure of the guy's religion at the time of the newscast, I don't know. And to be fair they at least reported the guy's arabic name and the language he spoke. But it really stood out to me that they didn't identify the guy as a Muslim.

Edit: BTW, I think Taco is probably talking about the entire article, not just the tweet.
