Doug Aldrich, Paul Gilbert and my old buddy Bruce Bouillet (who has a new record coming out that was mixed by another good friend).
There are a ton of great "fusion" guys like Bill Connors, Al DiMeola, Allan Holdsworth and Scott Henderson to check out, if you haven't already. There's an absolutely awesome record called "One of a Kind" by Bill Bruford that features a young Holdsworth (from like 1978) in which he absolutely shreds. Phenomenal guitarist.
