They seem to want him dropping in coverage more this year. Maybe it is to rest his knee and keep him fresh for the 4th quarter. He is executing in the 4th so if I were a kc fan I wouldn't worry. Not sure why Chargers thought they should double Zombo and go one on one with Houston late in the game. That seemed stupid.
Houston is still very good vs the run.
The dropping could be because of lack of depth at ILB too trying to run some Zone Blitz's under the Man coverage on the outsides. Missing Berry and Johnson doesn't look like he has his top end speed though he is still playing well.
I also see him standing at the LOS on more plays than in the past, looks like he is trying to discourage screens and play run 1st rather than push it upfield and leave space behind him.
