I'm with you. It felt way too neat for Breaking Bad even though it was an enjoyable ending. And there was a lot of opportunity to make the ending "challenging." It's an odd feeling when a character dies, and the first thought that goes through my mind is "they let him off the hook." This story has a long line of people Walt has wronged, and in the end, he redeems himself and loses the least out of most of the main characters in the show.

He didn't redeem himself. He killed a bunch of people and blackmailed others.
He just won. He completely won.
No matter how bad of a guy Walt is, you can't help but love his resolve.
