Como makes good points. The other thing about NBA is you are about 3rd in the pecking order for making decisions. If the team is any good at all. There are usually 2 stars that have more power in the organization whereas he is the head honcho here.
The other thing to consider is his age. He's not a young man anymore. I know nothing but I can't imagine starting over at his age. It cuts both ways and he may want to get off the recruiting trail.
