If anyone's interested, a while back PBS aired a program called 'How Sherlock Changed the World.' It's somewhat of a promo for this show while also talking about the books' historical significance.

Also, this week PBS American Experience's ep was 'The Poisoner's Handbook' which talked about investigating mysterious deaths in our history. Really enjoyed it. It's available for online viewing.
