I'm not sure what to make of that Longshot gameplay. I watched it last night, and it looks like the remaining gameplay has been posted on youtube. but I don't want too much of a spoiler.

at first glance, it looks pretty....boring. I dunno. I mean, I like the concept, but just sitting there and occasionally pushing a button or making a 50/50 decision on something doesn't seem very innnovative or fun. I haven't played many of those types of games, but my wife and I like to play games together on occasion so we bought a used copy of The Walking Dead.....my god, it was boring. didn't even play it more than maybe 2 hours and we turned if off. This Longshot Mode reminds me a lot of that.

Just seems like a lot of effort was made by EA for this mode, and it really isn't all that fun to play. Maybe it gets better beyond the game play that I watched last night, but man....from what I watched, it just felt boring as hell.

The bummer is, they spent all this time on this mode, when that time could've (and probably should've) been used to improve several other areas of the game.

I'll reserve judgement until I buy it and actually play it, but first reaction seems like EA gonna EA.
