Rivers was clearly giving himself up and going down to the ground. The player is responsible not to hit the QB in that situation, and not to make helmet to helmet contact in any situation. Whatever you want to say about it, that was not called the way it's almost always called in the league and we caught a huge break. If they were looking to screw us, that was the perfect opportunity and it wouldn't have even been screwing us.
