Oh, and I've seen a ton of people on reddit and ingame the last several months saying they had come back after leaving for a year, and a number of them have said they've re-subscribed after playing a few days/weeks. It's harder for me to gauge as someone who never stopped, but they have made a lot of quality of life improvements to the game that people seem to like a lot. I think there's still some things they could do (and that I think they're working on), but it's probably by now the game that folks think it should have been at launch.
I'm now well past the point where I've finished every class story (I have, err, 7 level 55 characters, and a couple more above 50), and I'm nowhere close to losing interest. So that probably speaks to the variety of endgame available now. I actually just started doing PvP about two months ago, and I've had way more fun with it than I ever thought that I would. I'm about to get back into HMFPs (there's two tiers of those, one at 50, one at 55) and then start doing Ops.
