Nope.
I grew up listening to him casually like most children of the 80's.
It was just a joke.
He's reportedly one of the nicest guys around, so I am happy to see he's still having success and doing his thing as an artist with a unique slant on meshing of the mediums.
For the record, I was insanely obsessed with seeing UHF the moment I first saw the previews, and remember distinctly my joy of seeing it at the old Crown Center theaters on a Saturday matinée opening weekend.
