When I was in NYC a couple of years ago, I was disappointed that I couldn't eat there. I am more of deep dish fan but it would have been cool to try "real" New York pizza.
When I was a kid, my favorite pizza place was
Gallucci's over on the coast. They had amazing pizza. Unfortunately, they pretty much sucked the last couple of times I ate there.
When we were eating pizza regularly, it was almost always Papa Murphy's. Their Gourmet Vegetarian was excellent, though, with the white sauce, not really "pizza" in my book.
Now, I only eat pizza we make at home.
