Side effect of having an historian as the lead character, maybe. There really wasn't much in the way of...stuff happening until the last quarter hour.

The changes when they got back are what really sold it for me.

I'm not sure what the deal is this year, between this, Flash and Frequency. Time travel must be this year's thing. Still haven't watched Frequency yet but I thought Flash and this did it well, in terms of paradoxes.

Watching No Tomorrow from the CW right now. That's a pretty cute little show so far. Quirky and funny, about a girl meeting a guy who thinks the earth is ending next May, and how he's just doing whatever's on his bucket list - **** work and anything else.
