I'm not a big college football person until after January but it seems to me that Ivy League schools suffer from poor coaching and recruiting. I'd really have to look at some numbers to have a more informed opinion about though. It could very well be they're coaching up poor/less talented recruits. Ivy league schools don't offer athletic scholarships however they do offer "financial aid" to any kid they are admitting which is how they get their athletes $. Due to the academic makeup of Ivy's there are a lot of athletes obviously that they can't recruit. You will find good individual players in the Ivy League but there is little depth.
