I would honestly hope the fans could stir some action out of the owner, but the lack of success seems to have been the nail in Crennel and Pioli's coffins.
In some kind of reality I imagine the growing mass of empty seats might have contributed and that would be the fans not showing for the games.
When the season starts late this summer I hope we can get through the season without having to pull out the old "Well, there's always next year!".
