I lived in TO for a year from late 06-07 at the Suites at One King West. Awesome city! Much better than Buffalo and now that the dollar has jumped back to old hig levels against the CDN$, you can get more bang for your buck!

I was very pleasantly surprised at Toronto. I kind of envisioned it as being a generic modern city, but it had lots of nice neighborhoods and residential architecture. I think I could live in Toronto.
