It would not take a lot of time or training to teach Mayweather what he needs to know to beat the hell out of Ronda, but right now he does not have that knowledge, so he'd just quickly lose.
A good analogy might be if you put a huge guy with a sword up against, say an archer who has no other weapons. The big guy would just die unless you give him a shield.
