I've never really understood why some people hate Hank. I always liked Hank and I've rooted for him from the very first episode. A friend of mine told me that she hates Hank because she grew up in a family of cops and that Hank reminded her of her arrogant family members, so I suppose I understand where she is coming from.
The other thing I don't understand is how anyone can STILL root for Walt. Walt is an evil bastard and he needs to be put down.

Walter is a POS. He's was a whiner and pussy before his cancer and he became an evil murdering scumbag after he decided to start manufacturing drugs.
I guess people love the anti hero. He's smart but he's a scumbag. Skylar, Marie and all the rest of them are just not very good people. No nobility at all.
At least Hank was willing to face the music and take responsibility for attacking Jesse.
It's all going to go badly for them. There will be no Shawshank ending
