Poor choice of words on my part regarding targeting the head.
With the new rules, targeting or intent doesn't matter. If the principle point of contact is the head, expect discipline from the league.
Knowing the league, and the fact the player in question is from their 2nd biggest market - He'll probably get a game while Backes misses the rest of the playoffs.
Oh, and if anyone has a link to the audio of that play where you can overhear Toews/Keith chirping at a guy who just had his egg scrambled, I'd appreciate you posting it. Class acts, those Blackhawks.
