How true !!
He's like that yappy little dog that keeps hanging around the dinner table even though nobody wants him there. Sooner or later someone will slip him a piece of meat (double meaning intended) hoping he'll just shut up and go away. He knows nobody likes him or wants him around but he doesn't care as long as someone will slip him a little meat from time to time he'll never leave.
