They were setting all kinds of records on offense. The idea that offensive lines like that mean zero toward making you a contender is silly.
If true history were written, that team going 9-0 and finishing 13-3 would be chalked up to an amazing line and an efficient QB who wasn't a superhero.
Blaming Green for not being able to score 40 or 50 to carry the barely-there defense is a sad denigration of what he, Saunders, Solari and that offensive line did.
