One of my major weight loss strategies is to cut out alcohol altogether during the week and not drink much beer on weekends. One of the reasons I'm so heavy is allowing beer to creep back into my weeknight drinking. 3-4 beers a night (instead of two neat whiskeys) will pack on the belly.
Anyway, no drinking during the week for me unless there's a good reason.
