Has anyone else ever seen him live? Anyone considering going?

Got to see him FREE in Kirksville/TSU, about a year before 'The Seinfeld Chronicles' landed at NBC.
They also landed Chris Rock before he got the SNL gig.
Someone on student union knew their up-and-coming standup.
The irony is I think Seinfeld is a funnier conversationalist than he is a standup. I like his standup plenty, but watching comedians in cars getting coffee has convinced me that the guy can gab about anything and find insight and keep the narrative fascinating/hilarious.
His fake eye bulge when he looks at the check cracks me up every time.
