There's more than enough resources with knowledge of the offense to make Avant expendable.
I doubt he gets cut because there's simply no competition for the #5/6 spot.....but he doesn't deserve a spot simply because he knows the offense.
That spot SHOULD be filled by someone with talent....sadly the Chiefs still don't have a lot of talent there.
