I don't think that's true at all, just for the record.
As for the broader concept of n00bs being "hazed," I do think that's true to some extent. However, my view is that the issue is almost as much an issue with n00bs who decide to come in and assume the culture of many thousands of users should conform to their style rather than laying back and getting to know the place before shitting all over it. BlackBob comes to mind...
