Absolutely.
I go pass heavy, dome heavy for the first 10-11 weeks before I start worrying about running backs (cold months).
My strategy is VALUE RBs, ELITE QB, TWO ELITE RECEIVERS (whether it's 1 TE and 1 WR or 2 WRs), and then go from there.
I go Peyton just about every week. Dude throws a minimum of 3 TDs every week.
If you think there is a super good value QB out there, then it would be wise to surround your team with Peyton targets like D.T. and J.T.
Last week I netted $475 with this lineup:
Peyton (only played 3 quarters and was still beast)
Ben Tate (awful)
Ellington (good)
Jordy (ok)
Golden Tate (great)
Jermaine Kearse (can't believe I picked him, $200 more expensive, than Baldwin. It was a coin toss and I thought Kearse had better TD potential. **** me.)
Jordan Reed (meh, no real great TE's last week)
Bills DEF (legit)
Shayne Graham (legit)
...low scoring week, QB carried me. He was 1 point away from winning me another $150, too. So if they didn't pull him, that lineup would've netted $625
I decided the one week that I shied away from Peyton (and he went nuts) I'd never do it again. I don't do Thursday fanduels so I have the other elite QB in my lineup this week
I play for a lot of money so I don't feel comfortable sharing my lineups over the internet since my handles matchup with my Fanduel handle and I don't want it to be archived on the internet for my competitors to stumble across.
