Really?? Jim is comfortable eating the food I pay for...but won't eat with me?? Isn't this supposed to be about our daughter?? What's his malfunction??
They don't want to be seen in public with me, because my daughter is the spitting image of me. I think they don't want to be seen with me, out of ego, spite, whatever.
Which is like, whatever...but am I going to be a dick for no longer going 'above and beyond'??

Why in the world would you want to go to dinner with them anyway? I mean, seriously. You're getting bent out of shape about not being included in a dinner date with your ex and her current boyfriend? What?!
And you think it's because they'd be uncomfortable because your daughter looks like you and you think people would think they were weird or something being at a table with a dude who looks like a little girl at the same table that isn't part of the "couple"? Seriously?
I'd give you the being pissed about going to see your daughter and having the ex pull the "it's family night so she's coming with us that night even though you are coming all the way out here for a short amount of time" bullshit. (But then, you did the same thing to her by offering to have her third wheel it with you and your girlfriend instead of just letting her spend time with her daughter instead of forcing her to spend it with you, your girlfriend and her daughter...awkward anyone?)
