If you're going to do the "disconnect and reconnect" thing, your best bet is to change the WPA2 pre-shared key and then reboot the router.
You'll disconnect everything and nothing can get back on until you re-enter the key. That will help you account for wireless intruders or neighbors that are stealing your internet and it will also account for devices that you might have otherwise forgotten (I have over 50 wireless devices on my network so yes, you can forget sometimes).
