Hootie was allowed back on this site 2-3 times after earning legit bans over the past year.
I'm not going to share the exact quote of the terms of his ban because it was a private correspondence and it wasn't from me, but it essentially boiled down to "don't be a douchebag or you're going to be gone again".
Since receiving those instructions he's been banned for 2 days as a reminder and been warned at least once that he's on a short-leash and what being on the "short-leash" means.
This isn't just Phil doesn't like Hootie. That's true. I don't. I don't like a few other people either but I don't run around banning people I don't like.
This is an issue that has been discussed ad nauseum by the mods. It's not something that we take lightly and just decided because one of us may have been on the rag.
It's not over any one post. It's a body of work. It's a process.
