Yes, the heat and humidity was almost unbearable. It was low to mid 90s all week. Halfway through that first day, I had to buy a Disney hat to keep the sun off my head. I thought I could get by with just sunscreen. Wrong. However, I don't think the heat and humidity is any different than Kansas summers. Hell, just yesterday it was mid 90s and humid here. Unfortunately, we don't have any other choice but to go down there in summer. Kids are only out of school at the end of May through mid August.
