We got confirmation that Daryls father used to beat him and his brother. That scene with the people in the car was interesting, but wouldnt they have wanted to try and stick with Daryle and Merle after that experience??

I read the comics and I didn't like Axel's character in them so I was kind of biased against him. Granted he turned out to be a decent guy in the show unlike in the books though.
