As well, most humans aren't monogamous anyway. I was watching some study on it and only about 20% of people exhibit the "monogamous" gene when they meet the right "someone." In addition, the production of oxytocin is a limited thing and usually lasts up to only six months on the outside. It can be triggered by another person but your shit got old.
