Ok but how many drafts does the best CB go ahead of the best pass rusher?
2014 - DE,
and OLB taken before CB
2013 - 2 DE, OLB taken before CB
2012 - 2 CB taken top 10, 3 in round 1 and honestly I don't know if any of them will be worth it and all look to be possible busts (Clairborne, Gilmore, Kirkpatrick)
2011 - not a single CB taken in the 1st round
2010 - 2 DT and S taken before CB.
2009 - not a single CB in round 1.
Draft history does not indicate CB is more important then pass rusher.
While its opinion, its unbiased opinion. Flowers is rated 1 spot LOWER than Cooper in BR top 100 CB's of 2014 so apparently there isn't expected to be huge drop off. Flowers is ranked 80 out 100, Cooper is 79 and Sean Smith is 65 which is higher than all those guys taken in the 1st round in 2012.

On another note Carr barely made the list at 99.
