The fact he's turned down past opportunities (to even interview) in places where he'd likely be given full control shows that the full control thing isn't his M.O.
He's spent his entire career working for Green Bay, save for one season when he worked for Holmgren in Seattle.
Going to a place like KC, to work with his close friend, Reid and someone he's familiar with professionally should be attractive to him.
