First off, this is a 'Penz thread. Who knows if he's even serious.
Secondly, people perceive things differently. My wife can't tell the difference between an 8 year old LED TV and the TCL 4K that I purchased in August to replace it.
Some broadcasts look better in 4K or HDR 4K and some things just don't. The TCL I purchased is used in our kid's playroom and 99% of the content they watch is animated. My eyes tell me that it's cleaner and clearer, as are movies streamed from VUDU but some people don't even agree with that.
The X Box One and Wii U don't look markedly different, either. Maybe a little "shinier". The bottom line is that once the TV of choice is in your home, it doesn't matter whether or not there's a new TV available that's 2% better than your current picture.
It's a rabbit hole.
