Overall Kansas is one of the best basketball schools of all time. Overall, the conference is simply mediocre at best.

Eh, I still want competitive basketball, and it's not like Kansas has won the conference by 3+ games every season... actually, I think they've only won it by more than 1 game a couple of times in the past 10 years, and they've shared the conference title a couple of times (and probably again this year).
And really, do you see a lot more parity here?
