I think punk is the perfect candidate though. Especially if Taker isnt planning on wrestling again next year. they could build it up as his last ever match and thus leave an opening for him to lose.

Which makes me wonder as to its purpose. He got to a round number, he's largely broken down, the last two matches of his that I saw were essentially drama-absent spotfests.
If they were going to put someone in with Taker they should do Lesnar. Another option would be Jericho, simply because he's the best worker on the roster and he has plenty of charisma to add to the match.

I was thinking Lesnar a while back before the HHH stuff. I thought he was going to end it with Cena next year but that may well be Rock v Cena 3. I think at this point they are looking at Wrestlemania XXX as the round number, not his win total.
