I think you are confused...the risk isn't with the Achilles that he tore/rehabbed. It's with his other heel. He has pain...that he's had for years with that one.
I think this is where fans, and rightfully so, are starting to question why this has gone on for so long. He has had this chronic heel pain before but somehow, after signing a guaranteed deal, is just too painful/big of risk to play.
They could numb it and use specially designed shoes. It's a pain issue...and CHunt/Reid are coddling him due to a bloated (reeruned) contract that Chunt brokered over Dorsey's head.
Rams week will be 27 game checks without playing a down. Props to Berry for juking the system....unlike Bell, he got paid for sitting out. Sweet gig if you can get it...
