Growing up, I lived on a block with a lot of old couples. Those sick bastards passed out Necco wafers every Halloween. They all did it.
I tried to convince my dad to let us trick-or-treat across the street and just forget about all the houses on our block, but that was too much of an inconvenience for him.
So every Halloween about 10% of my stash was made up of those disgusting pieces of crap. My friends and I used to take a couple wafers, shove them in a film canister with some water, add alka selzer, put the cap on and rest the canister upside down. Instant rocket, and it would explode the wafers everywhere.
The rest were thrown in the garbage. None of our parents wanted them, and we sure as **** didn't.
