Rumors are slowly leaking out about the Gareth Edwards directed Star Wars spinoff due in 2016. I had heard from a reliable source that there would be some sort of Boba Fett spinoff but from my understanding, Kasdan hated Fett's origin story in the prequel. If he had his way, the original Boba Fett of the prequels would be killed off in the first ten minutes and replaced with the Boba Fett of the OT.
Anyway, the leaks are all but confirming it will be a bounty hunter centric "heist" film in which the bounty hunters will have one objective: Steal the Death Star plans.
IMO, this idea has incredible potential so I hope it comes to fruition.
