I recall talking to one of our clients in Denver about something along those lines. We were having lunch (4-5 years ago) and he told me that "If weed was made "legal", it would be the downfall of Colorado"
I scoffed, saying that it wouldn't be that bad. Looks as though I was wrong and he was right.
I heard that he moved to Wyoming after he retired. Jackson, I believe.
As for people moving to Colorado because it is "awesome" - you are correct. Colorado IS awesome. As long as you're not in Denver.
There are parts of Colorado that (literally) take your breath away. But in Denver? I was afraid to breathe......
